I've been using this dictionary as a way to look up definitions of Italian words in English while i read. I give it 4 stars because it has been the only semi decent translation to use when reading on a kindle. I tried a few others and they were just terrible, completely useless. Honestly this book isn't that prefect for a kindle. Often you look up a verb that is conjugated for a different tense, and instead of the English definition they just tell you in English past tense for for 'Italian verb' and no more. . .(e.g - fosse - 3s impf subj of essere). Now this is fine for when you know a simple word like essere, but when you don't know the verb in its infinitive form there is no way to look up the infinitive with a simple touch. Anyway at the end of the day still the best companion for kindle that i've used to help you read in Italian and translate unknown words to English.Product details

Could not make it default dictionary to my kindle. Not much of a companion!
Does the job!
The best Italian - English dictionary by far.
I purchased the Collins Dictionary first. Although the entries were much more comprehensive with grammar in that one, it was very difficult to use in a book as the definition formatting often required you to enter the dictionary via the "Full Definition" button. I ended up with this dictionary as it intentionally simplifies entries for speed and convenience. It's not perfect, but the title of the dictionary sums it up well--it's a good companion dictionary for reading.
works great with my kindle, but not every common word is found in this dictionary. mssing a few conjugated verb forms too, in all it is a useful product.
I cannot get this dictionary to show up on my Paperwhite. When I plug the into the laptop, I can see it in the document file, but it does not show up in my list of books, and I cannot find any way of accessing it when I am reading something in italian on the . It does show up on my phone--but when I try to read something in Italian, and click on a word for a definition, I get an Italian-to-Italian dictionary. When I click the option to use another dictionary, this dictionary is listed, and when I select it, I do get the English translation. But the same thing happens every time Instead of quickly getting the English definition of the word, it defaults back to the all-Italian dictionary, forcing me to switch to the English dictionary every time. I have no idea what's wrong. I have not had this kind of issue with any other download.
